CHICAGO IS OUR CLASSROOM

AAEP students have regularly stepped out of the building this fall to experience and learn about the arts all over Chicago. So where have they been? Well, here are just some of the places where AAEP classes have been held over the last few months: Millennium Park, University of Illinois at Chicago, Art Institute, Garfield Park Conservatory, MCA, Navy Pier – IMAX, Cadillac Theatre, Auditorium Theater, Illinois Institute of Art, Symphony Center, and on the streets of Chicago (where better to sketch architectural details?), to name a few. So what did the students do? View dance, theater and musical productions, videotape, photograph, sketch, observe culinary demonstrations, and attend exhibits, all while LEARNING!
